I think this could be a possibility if it continues to spread as the government will want to try and contain it. But I think it could also be a possibility that you’ll get taught from home via skype or with homework.
This is a decision that won’t be made lightly, and if it ever happens would be all about the correct timing. Experts in public health are working with the government on our response to coronavirus, and this is an option which may be needed at some point but it is still too early to tell. If it does go ahead, it would also have to be decided on a case-by-case basis whether distance learning could work for that school.
