I haven’t had contact with it no (thankfully!), at the moment I’m working on a disease called Lassa fever which is spread across countries in Western Africa. There is a lot more work becoming available to study Coronavirus though, as our response to the outbreak continues, so it’s possible I may be able to join a research project on it in the future. What I like about the team I’m currently working with is we cover a lot of different illnesses, and so it’s been interesting to see other’s involvement in Coronavirus preparedness and the ways that social scientists such as myself can contribute towards it’s containment and control.
